What the water is, what is in it, where to find it and where the 2% goes.
What is artesian water?
Artesian water comes from a confined aquifer - water held under natural pressure between layers of rock. It rises on its own and is protected from surface contact along the way. That is what we bottle. It is not the same as spring water, which flows out of the ground at the surface.
What is in the can?
Artesian water, nothing else. Natural electrolytes are in the water itself - calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium. No sugar, no sweeteners, nothing artificial. The Sparkling can adds carbonation, and that is the only difference.
What sizes and flavors do you make?
Two: Current Artesian Water and Current Sparkling Water, both in tall 16 fl oz aluminum cans. The Sparkling Water carries the nickname The Station Beer with the first responders who keep it in their trucks.
Why aluminum?
Because aluminum recycles forever. The can can be back on the shelf as a new can in about 60 days, again and again, without losing quality. It also chills fast, takes a hit and packs light.
Where can I buy Current?
Use the store locator - type your zip code or city and it maps liquor stores, grocery stores, gas stations and breweries near you that carry the cans.
What is The Station Beer?
Our sparkling water. It earned the name from the fire fighters, police officers, EMTs and paramedics who asked for something cold with nothing in it - a can that looks like a beer at the end of a shift but is only water and bubbles.
How does the 2% give-back work?
2% of every can goes back to non-profits that support first responders, schools and the next generation. On the Non-Profits page you can pick the fire department, school or hospital you want us to back, and the team reads every pick.
I want Current in my store. How do I stock it?
Send a reseller request with your company, address and the distributor you use - Sysco, Hehe, UNFI, Chef Warehouse or another one - and we will set it up.
Who is on the team?
Real people, pushing limits: skaters, fighters, surfers, a footballer, motocross riders, artists and a band, plus recovery teams like SPRT Therapy and MOTUSPT. See the full roster on the Athletes page.
Can I join the team or pitch footage?
Yes. The join form at the bottom of the homepage goes straight to the team. Send your sport, your city and a link to your footage.
How do I reach you?
The contact form, or Instagram at @currentdrink_official. We read everything.
